MAID With Love

MAID With Love is a limited documentary podcast series exploring the process of MAID (Medical Assistance in Death) and what it's like for loved ones left behind.

Through six episodes, MAID With Love will recount Margaret Bridle's yearlong battle with terminal pancreatic cancer in 2017 and her final decision to die with dignity in Toronto, Canada. The narrative is driven by interviews with close family members, medical professionals and grief counselors. This podcast will explore MAID in Canada and where it falls short - and what those shortcomings mean for families, medical practitioners and law makers.
